What is XPS board?
XPS (extruded polystyrene) is a rigid foam board with a closed-cell structure. The closed cells resist water absorption and block water-vapour transmission, and the board offers low thermal conductivity – which is why XPS is widely used for insulation and as the core of waterproof tile backer boards.
